ADMINISTRATION & FINANCES


The group and its sections is administered by a committe of volunteers.
A committee chairperson heads the committee and a group scouter leads the all-volunteer uniformed staff. All staff are approved and warranted by the South African Scout Association.

Membership is by subscription payable at the beginning of each school term.

Contact the leaders for details as to subscription costs.


Camping trips and other special activities require additional payments.

1st Walmer Scout Group is self-sustaining through subscriptions, contributions and fund-raising activities.

The annual operating budget, just to provide the basic progamme, is approximately
R50 000.
